Lord Rangel cares not for his party

Now, if you watch CNN there is occasionally this raspy-voiced old fart who has called to renew the draft, and sometimes he is backed up by an old fart with a severe monotone. Now, I figured that these were partisan Democrats out to bash President Bush as partisan Democrats are prone to do...excessive partisans like Fat Bastard got him re-elected

Now, that the Democrats have gained control, one of the most powerful senior leadership old farts wants to revive the draft.

Now, Charles Rangel is Lord of Harlem and he will be re-elected until he dies, just as John "Monotone" Conyers will be elected by his subjects in Detroit until he dies, and maybe even after..I mean with that monotone he could be a zombie :)

Now, personally, I oppose a draft. I hate the idea of making the military compulsory. On the other hand, I think joining the military will do a lot of people a world of good, but on the other hand (I have a degree in Economics and I'm using Adam Smith's invisible hand now), the military isn't for everyone, but one can always support troops, like pretty young ladies ambivalent about the service can smooch male soldiers..like myself :) That is great for my morale, though I may smooch back, but so can the pretty young lady ;)

Now, I admit that monotone hasn't said anything yet, but he co-sponsored the last attempt by the Lord of Harlem to re-instate the draft to spite President Bush, and he got re-elected though getting less than 55% against Frankenstein is not much of a victory.

So far, monotone isn't involved, but I'll mock him anyway.
